Your articles will have greater likelihood of showing up as top 10 search page results if you stick with keywords that are not very competitive; meaning, they are not already being targeted by millions of marketers worldwide.

• Kick-start your articles with intriguing titles. Make sure you include the keyword or key phrase. Your titles must be attention-grabbing and enticing so that online readers will be encouraged to spend their precious time reading your articles.

• Keep your articles short. You need to understand that the people you are serving (online users) have very limited attention span. These people usually don’t have the luxury of time to spend hours in front of their computers. You can serve them better if you can share your knowledge using 500 words or less. It would also help if you can make your content scannable (more easily read) by using subheadings, numbered lists, and bullet points whenever appropriate.
