One of the biggest mistakes that new affiliates make is choosing a product that no one buys. That’s the main reason that newbie affiliates have high failure rates with their affiliate marketing campaign.
As you probably know, when you don’t see results for your efforts, you can get frustrated very fast, and stop trying to do what you set out to do.
This is why my decision is to instruct you in choosing a good product to promote and that it will be profitable to you.
The first thing to look for in a product is whether it is a need or a want. When someone is in need for the product you’re promoting he will buy it no matter what the quality of it is, and sometime no matter what the price tag is.
Why would they pay for it?
Because you hold the answer that solves the problems that they are facing right there before them, in your hands. That’s why I recommend all my fellow affiliates to promote products that people need, and that’s the way to online fortune.
So how you can make sure that people actually need your product?
Choose products from the Health&Fitness category for example. Those people are desperate for a change in their life. Some of them are looking for a weight loss program that they can follow and get thin, while others are looking for to get six pack abs to show off and get more girls.
Another category that you can go for is the Adware&Spyware software. Adware and spyware are infecting computers everywhere and many folks are willing to pay hefty sums to save their computer’s data. Some have family pictures and others have some important documents that they don’t want to lose and they will pay a fortune to get rid of the spyware on their computer.
Can you see that selecting a product that people are in NEED of will greatly improve your chances of making sales. You should go for the desperate buyers and not those who are looking to have fun with their product. You may soon be generating sales should you decide to adhere to this theory. I have a website, creditcard processors (2checkout, ikobo, paypal, shareit) and software products.
I want to work with advertisers (I tried bidvertiser and know adwords), affiliates, resellers or marketers on a profit sharing basis. So basically I can sell them the licences (product keys) as they resell the product to customers or I can process payment and give them the finders fee. They need to promote (seo, ads, maillists, better web site?) and actually sell the products to obtain any money.
How to accomplish this business model, which companies to work with ?

Are we allowed to do affiliate marketing on blogger.com?
M not too sure about that cos one of terms of agreement seem to say we are not to use it for any commercial purposes.
Also Word Press explicitly forbid it.
Below is copied from Blogger Terms of service:
7. No Resale of the Service. Unless expressly authorized in writing by Google, you agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes (a) any portion of the Service, (b) use of the Service, or (c) access to the Service.
Doesn’t it sound like its use for commercial purposes is prohibited? I have heard some instances where accounts were terminated for suspicion of being SPAM blogs??!! i.e blogs used to direct traffics to other sites.
This is from Wordpress:
And here are some examples of blogs that are banned from WordPress.com (all of these fall under the general heading of “spam blogs”, or splogs, and we will be deleted as soon as we find them or they get reported):
* Scraper blogs: Blogs that take content from other blogs and re-publish it without permission (this is sometimes called scraping). If a blog contains all or mostly stolen and unoriginal content, it’s gone!
* SEO blogs: Blogs that are written for search engines instead of humans. These blogs are dedicated to trying to fool Google and other search engines into ranking them highly. WordPress.com is not meant for this type of activity.
* Affiliate marketing blogs: Blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to affiliate programs and get-rich-quick schemes (”Make six figures from home!!”, “20 easy steps to top profits!!”, etc). To be clear, examples like people writing original book or movie reviews and linking them to Amazon, or people
