Well… in between setting up and moving some of these pages to my new blog: IMDiscounter.com plus churning out some more ‘GoogledIn60Minutes‘ mini campaigns time really has flown by!
I will certainly share some of my success with this awesome technique just as soon as I have a day or two more data. All I can say is I am living, breathing, real evidence that this method works!
I will get back into more video promotion soon too, another technique for Free Traffic that I enjoy!
A quick tip for those of you looking to venture into YouTube and Google Video for promotion and traffic generation:
- Choose your account name wisely! Make it tie in as closely as possible to the product or niche you will be promoting via the account… You will end up with several accounts if you’re promoting different offers or niches but this is important for that lazer targeting we need to be obsessed with…

Of all the marketing tools that you can use in promoting your website and products online I’d recommend article marketing.
Here’s a few ways you can jumpstart your article marketing:
- Do proper keyword research. This is one of the first things that you need to do. You have to figure out the most popular keywords being used by your target market when they go online and look for specific information. You need to write your articles around each of these keywords/key phrases so you can easily make your articles appear on Google etc for relevant searches.
- Analyze the competitiveness of your keywords. You must also take into consideration the competition online when choosing keywords to write articles around. Your articles will have greater likelihood of showing up as top 10 search page results if you stick with keywords that are not very competitive; meaning, they are not already being targeted by millions of marketers worldwide.
- Kick-start your articles with intriguing titles. Make sure you include the keyword or key phrase. Your titles must be attention-grabbing and enticing so that online readers will be encouraged to spend their precious time reading your articles.
- Keep your articles short. You need to understand that the people you are serving (online users) have very limited attention span. These people usually don’t have the luxury of time to spend hours in front of their computers. You can serve them better if you can share your knowledge using 500 words or less. It would also help if you can make your content scannable (more easily read) by using subheadings, numbered lists, and bullet points whenever appropriate.
- Your articles must be informative. Show your readers how much you appreciate their time reading your content by loading your articles with the kind of information that they are looking for. Share some trade secrets that they will be happy to know about or help them resolve their pressing issues so they can improve the quality of their lives.

When we look for products to promote as an affiliate it’s difficult to get any continuity beyond the initial sale. eBook Development and Article Distribution Equal Marketing Magic
There aren’t many methods of building traffic better than eBook Development or Article Distribution. Of course organic search is number one in my book because it’s so darn cost effective and the results can be substantial. The only issue with organic search is the amount of time it takes to be fully indexed and listed in the search engine results. Indexing can be quick, however search result’s listings can take a long time. There are a number of reasons why a site is listed or not listed in a search results page for a given keyword.
Article Marketing:
Going back to eBook Development and Article Distribution, there isn’t a lot available for building traffic cost effectively as the two aforementioned tactics. For one thing they are completely “white hat” and perfectly acceptable methods of advertising products or sites for all of the search engines and indices. Second, they are relatively inexpensive methods to use compared to pay per click or banner advertising. To write an article all you need is word processing software, which almost every computer comes with some form of. The same is true for writing an ebook and self publishing it, can be done for less than $100 or for free if you utilize a free PDF conversion service.
Article Distribution:
The case for Article Distribution is a powerful one. If you want to rank well of search engine results for your most important keywords, you need backlinks to your website. Backlinks are an indication to the search engines of your sites relative importance. The higher the number the more important your site is. Article Distribution provides the vehicle in which sites will show a backlink to your site. Article Distribution will also showcase your knowledge for the article topic submitted. This is a win-win-win situation as it provides you with a backlink to your site, content for the article host and additional data/content for the search engines.
eBook Writing:
The case for eBook Development is just as great as Article Distribution. eBook Development can be highly effective for providing source information on a given topic. Therefore it’s a natural advertising medium for product sales or to focus on an affiliate product.
eBook Development and Article Distribution make a great combination for advertising, as they require little or no cost to develop.
